From Pottery to Brushwork | 30.03.-02.04.2026 | 09:00-15:00 | P2-P5
Artists on a Journey of Discovery
At the beginning of this project, the children leave the classroom to explore Auenkunst in Bad Vilbel, discovering its sculptures and artworks set within the natural landscape. (https://auenkunst-massenheim.de/)
By observing shapes, textures and materials, and by engaging with the stories behind the works, they sharpen their powers of observation and gather inspiration for their own creations.
Back at school, the children work with a carefully selected range of artistic techniques. From pottery and mosaic making to brushwork and painting. They learn how different tools, surfaces and materials can transform their ideas into visible works of art. The focus is not on perfect results, but on artistic courage, creativity and the joy of making.
The project concludes with a very special highlight: the children curate their own art exhibition. Parents are warmly invited to visit the exhibition and admire their children’s artistic work.
This camp is also open to non-ESRM students.
