Many dream of shining on stage as a ballet dancer.
In our ballet classes, we combine classical teaching with methods and techniques from various other dance styles (modern, conteporaty,) as well as from rhythmic gymnastics, etc. The varied design of this camp helps to develop better coordination and understanding of the body's movements. Blocks of the course:
1.Introduction to ballet as an art form using pictures and video. What is a "ballet skirt ", a "Chopin skirt "? What do pointe shoes look like and how do you stand in them? We look at pointe shoes and the insoles in them. What is the difference between pointe shoes and ballet shoes.
2.The look and hairstyle for ballet class. Why is it like this and not like that?
3.Ballet language - basic terms (in French) and what do they mean? Drawing movements, poses and easy to remember! (notepad, notebook, pencils).
4.Basic hand and foot positions in ballet.
5.Ballet - "American" - a parterre workout in classical dance.
6.Strength, flexibility and grace - that is, to be able to dance easily and beautifully, we need to prepare and strengthen our bodies). Strength part, lying and sitting on the mats + flexibility development.

In class we will use elastic bands, balls, mats to help work on technique and correctness of execution.
Please bring: Tights, leggings, leotard, any comfortable close fitting clothing. Ballerina or socks.
